Once again Tom Cowan is being incredibly sloppy. In this case he attempts to critique an article he cannot even access in full. The absurd nonsense of the “greenies” thought experiment isn’t worth anyone’s attention.

Toward the end of the podcast Cowan mentions thinking Jeff has a connection with someone named Meise (spelling?). I’ve never heard of this person. Cowan attacks him as being infected with the highly contagious Syndrome of Insufficient Thinking (SIT). I think he came up with SIT because he can then say those infected with it are “Full of SIT”. This guy is a real class act! And yet he seems to have enthusiastic followers.

Good work, Jeff, getting a response out so quickly!

Thanks, Marty. I sent Cowan a message on his website and informed him that the article is now available in full for him to read, and that he should engage with my sources in a follow-up. If he had asked me, I would have sent him my book for free, as well as the article in question.

As for 'Meise', I have no idea who that is, and I’ve never heard the name before.

Going in, I expected Cowan to thoroughly challenge me and seriously address my points. He didn’t come anywhere near that. He had material to reference and engage with but chose instead to brush it aside with a broad, dismissive stroke, then devolve into one of his outlandish and silly metaphors.

I also noticed that at the beginning, he claimed he hadn’t read anything of mine besides some of the article, yet later admitted to having read other pieces and suggested I should appreciate his “thought experiment.” So, he must know more than he lets on, because he even mentioned that some of them were planning to interview me but didn't. This isn’t the first time; I was approached for an interview by this same group early on in 2020, and they've been closely following me since.
