Steve Bannon’s Project 2025 Joke Says What We Knew All Along | The New Republic
“Project 2025 has begun. And Donald Trump’s allies are now openly celebrating it.
“Now that the election is over I think we can finally say that yeah actually Project 2025 is the agenda,” wrote conservative commentator Matt Walsh on Wednesday morning, adding “Lol” for good measure.
Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was recently released from prison, responded on his live War Room podcast with one word: “Fabulous.”
Later during the livestream, Bannon could be seen holding a hard copy of the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 “Mandate For Leadership” up to the camera in celebration. On election night, Bannon had vowed to eliminate Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, MSNBC, and the Justice Department in an unhinged rant.
“Now, you’re going to pay the price,” he said Tuesday night.”
I attempted multiple times to warn my readers about what was coming, and yet so many of you chose to ignore it or even attack me. Across the country, Americans rejected the truth, and now that choice will haunt everyone. Due to the ignorance of so many, we will all suffer for the unforeseeable future. Many Trump supporters deserve whatever they get because of their disregard for the truth—but many of us do not deserve this in any way. I was absolutely correct that Trump would win. I was absolutely correct that Project 2025 was the plan all along, right there in front of you. As I sounded the alarm, I was met not with understanding or curiosity but with sneers from people too blind to see the reality unfolding before them. Check my last few posts about Trump and witness it for yourself. You’ll see comments from do-nothings claiming my position was “paranoid” and “misguided”—people who, day in and day out, get their perspectives spoon-fed by far-right echo chambers, who can’t think critically or objectively, or who lack even an ounce of original thought. They never bothered to ask themselves what Project 2025 even is. And these same people had the nerve to tell me I was wrong—with zero evidence.
So let me be crystal clear: if you went out and voted for Trump and the MAGA agenda, you will have actively contributed to this outcome, and you deserve everything coming to you if you knew what was being planned and voted for it anyway. I do not want to hear your bitching and complaining when your asses are finally on the line. You should be ashamed of yourselves for casting a vote in favor of this blatant agenda of control and subjugation. If you’re still clinging to your delusions, holding onto fantasies as if they have any bearing on reality, I don’t want you here. Unsubscribe immediately and never return. This isn’t a place for people who willingly shut their eyes to the truth. This page is for those who care about truth, reason, and evidence—nothing less will do. If you don’t like that, get lost.
This isn’t about temporary wins or minor political victories; it’s about the slow stripping away of freedom, of critical thought, and of any hope for genuine progress toward the goal of true freedom on this planet. True freedom isn’t about your bank account, the price of gas, or a loaf of bread. No, it’s about our health, love, and about living beyond mere material possessions. If you think you’re fine now, that the MAGA agenda will protect your petty, small-minded interests, let me tell you—it won’t last. The dime-and-nickel bullshit you’re holding so close will dissolve in the face of what’s really coming, and all you’ll be left with is the hollow realization that your ignorance didn’t protect you. You didn’t listen to reason, truth, or understanding. Instead, you chose ignorance over truth, and soon there will be no hiding from the consequences.

Though this is not a subject I typically write about, it is one which I possess extensive knowledge of. Given that some individuals within my readership identify as Bible-believing Christians, I deemed it pertinent to bring to light what I view as parallels that might be pertinent to the contemporary circumstances we are witnessing.
I witnessed in the last 4 years, the mandating of medical treatments against one's will under threat of losing your livelihood which resulted in the injury and death of many (as shown by actuary tables, not conjecture). I saw the extreme censorship of any speech that did not agree with a governmental narrative with active campaigns to control all speech on mainstream media with my tax dollars. The President even tried to have a Ministry of Truth, for God's sake. Right out of Orwell. I saw multiple proxy wars being carried out by this same administration that enriched the military industrial complex while killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. I saw the enforcement of DEI policies upon corporations, universities and govt's that demanded that race and sexual proclivity takes presidence over merit. So, your warnings of what we face seems to be the very thing we were all already living under with this administration. There was no way I wanted 4 more years of that.
Jeff, Your article , in my opinion , is badly needing to be said ; the spiritual battle is upon us all now and I might say this even as a 78 year old "Doubting Thomas" However, my doubt is not in the immutable beauty we can each discover for ourselves in the prophesies and the teachings of the Lord ( for those can indeed make, " ...the morning star rise in your hearts") but more on what we premise an understanding of our soul`s responsibilities to the Heavenly Father but at the same time to the ruling powers of this world , a world now requiring much soul searching?
